Hi and welcome back to the podcast. So this is my second episode all about creating amazing Black Friday offers for you as a hairstylist. And today's episode is all about creating amazing offers for the clients that you already have in this law. So if you haven't heard the first episode, first episode is all about different types of offer that you can create for new clients. And today, I have 12 different ideas of Black Friday offers that you can create for the clients that you already have and make them feel special, more loyal, and boost your clientele. Maybe there are people that haven't been in for a while. Maybe life has happened to them and they haven't had a chance. This could be an urgency for them to actually come into the salon in getting their hair done, because they feel that they are getting a great deal. Some people maybe just don't have as much money at the moment because of their financial situation, etc. So there can be many different ways on why people are not coming to you, and this will help you create a way of actually
encourage them to
book an appointment with you already. Now,
where you should post these type of offers is if you have an online booking system, there's probably a way of either texting your existing clientele, or you can send an email, usually through your booking system, sending all of these offer out. There might be some clients that come in for special things. Think about that, you can maybe create a special offer for those type of clients and tweak things so maybe you don't offer the same type of offers to your full clientele, but I am going to go through 12 Different things. Here you have the other 12 offers for new clients as well. So you can play around with all of these and make sure that you have one type offer for new clients and one type of offer for the clients that are already in your world. Use social media to get it out there. Use all different things to get people to know your special offers, and when it comes to the clients that you already have in your salon, you can also say when there are paying or when they're getting their hair done until you have an end date on when these offers are expiring. You can say that, hey, if you do blah blah blah blah blah, offer them something of these offers that you're going to offer, then they can commit to something already when you're talking to them one on one, when they're blah, blah, blah. So you don't have to only send this out as a message. You can actually talk about your different offers with the clientele that you have in the salon already now. So let's get started. So the first one is buy one, get one free on haircuts or styling. It could be buy a haircut and they get an extra color service or a styling session, and get a free for a friend or family member. Member, depending on how you want to offer this. So think about it. Can also be book a haircut and then they get a free product, etc, or get buy, like, book an appointment for an haircut and get a percentage of for a family member. So this actually encourage existing clients to for refer others that can actually help them to get you a new clientele. And this is perfect for the holiday season. Number two discounted packages. So this is a bundle of services that you're offering with a percentage discount. This could be that they get 20% off when they book like three services in in advanced, maybe you separate haircuts, color touch up and deep conditioning, and they get a percentage off. And these actually encourage people to book several appointments with you at a time, and this helps you to secure future appointments as well. My recommendation here is also to take the payment in advanced, and especially if it is someone that maybe just been with you once or twice, people that been with you for years, that you know are trustworthy maybe not, but think about that. So think about what kind of services could you pack together to create an amazing discounted package. So number three is gift cards with a bonus value. So let's say you have a gift card of 50 US dollars, 50 euros, whatever. And when they buy that, they get an additional $10 Euro value. This is something people want to buy for, like holiday presents and so on. And this actually will invite them to purchase more from you. And this gift card is maybe gifted to a friend, family member, etc, and that will actually help you to get a new client. So a gift card with a bonus value, maybe it's something that you always should be offering with some kind of extra value that they are paying things in advance. Also make sure that when they book an appointment that they need to check your guides for and rules around when they can cancel, rebook, etc, etc, so you're not standing there people booking appointments not showing up, booking a new appointment, not showing up, etc. So remember, we need to have that into a system for you. Number four is an exclusive VIB. If an exclusive VIP membership offer, you give your existing clientele an opportunity to sign up for a VIP membership that includes perks like discounted rates on services, priority booking, free treatment every six months. Maybe you can add on different things, special appointments that are only offered to them. Maybe you have some special party for them. This is all about rewarding your loyal clients to book their future appointments with you, and membership offer like this will help you recur revenue and building long term relationships. And I know some people that are having especially clients that come for haircuts every five, six weeks. Maybe you can do a special membership where they pay a certain amount, either per month or per year, and they get X amount of haircuts per year with some extra add on together with that, so that they feel that they are getting something more from you, extra service, extra blah, blah, blah, blah blah, and you. You know you are locking in these services for a long time, so think about what kind of membership can you offer for your loyal clients. Number five is holiday glam up packages. Create a holiday glam UP package that includes like a wash blow out style deep conditioning treatments with a discount, they are more likely to come and style their hair for holiday parties gatherings, if they feel that they are getting this at an affordable price. So how can you create an amazing glam package that makes them feel wow about themselves. Go out looking amazing, and they will talk about how amazing they feel with their hair that you've just done, and that also helps spreading the word about your business. Number six is a free add on with color services. So for any color services offer free add on treatments such as hair gloss, deep conditioning, mask, sculpt, massage, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. People love to get extra value without paying more. So this could actually encourage them to try new treatments, and they probably want to book that for the next appointment as well. So think about what kind of add on treatments could you offer your clients? Number seven is early bird Black Friday booking discount. So I know January and February usually is a bit slow, so you can offer a special Black Friday booking discount for clients who schedule their appointments in advance for January and February just to lock their appointments, and you have to have some kind of rules around
rescheduling, canceling, etc, and I always recommend that they have to pay some kind of deposit in the advanced in order for them to get this Black Friday discount. And you decide what appointments are you going to offer this on? And this actually creates urgency for them to secure their appointments. And this helps you filling up your books when there's a slower pace. Number eight, we have client appreciation discount so you can offer and send out an exclusive thank you email to your existing clientele and offer a percent discount on their next service. And this is a special discount for only the people that are already your clients, and this makes them feel appreciated special and make sure that they have to book in that this discount is only valid for X amount of time, and you want them to book within a certain amount of time. Number nine is holiday hair makeover contests. So run a contest where one lucky winner gets a free holiday makeover, whatever that is, cut color, style treatment. And to enter, clients need to book an appointment and share about you on social media or tag a friend, and there are many different things you can do in order to have them join this so this could create amazing excitement around your brand. This could be like a giveaway or something, and if you're doing a holiday Makeover Contest. Make sure to send this out to as many people as possible, to get people to encourage them to engage with you and share and so on. And this could also lead to new clients. This could be something you also could offer to new clients doing some kind of giveaway like this, number 10 is discounted referrals. Engage clients to refer their friend. Giveaway like $20 and get $20 for your already existing clients. So if a client refers a new client, both the client and. New customer gets 20% of their next service. This is a win, win. Maybe you can this could be even a thing that you can offer all year round. Create a card. Give it to your existing clientele, let them know that, hey, do this. Blah, blah, give this to your friend, get the discount, and make sure that you have a system into place in order to really know that this is working and that the new client is giving the name of their friends so that they can get the discount. Super fun thing to do Number 11 is Black Friday bundle hair and beauty combo combo. So maybe someone in your salon is a makeup artist or doing nails. Maybe you could do like a combo with a tattoo artist, or a combo with, I don't know, the flower store, local coffee shop. There are, like many different things that you can do to partner up with any local businesses. So a Black Friday bundle could be include a discount for both your service and the other local business services. So both you and this other local business is offering this together, so this can help to cross promote your business and the other local businesses and people feel that they are getting an amazing deal. So think about who could you reach out to to create like a local Black Friday bundle together with another business, and number 12 is Black Friday holiday hair prep mini session. So for a discount, discounted price, offer a mini hair treatment for clients to prep their hair for the holiday season. This could be any kind of like clearing frame treatment, trims, deep conditioning, masks, etc, etc. This could be for people that really needs to have that extra love to their hair for any type of black off Friday offer that you're offering, make sure to create urgency, it's only available for a limited time. These are exclusive offers that is only for your clientele. So you want to have maximum three offers for your existing clientele, maximum say offers for new clients. Because if you're offering all 12, it's going to be like overwhelming. They won't know what to choose from, etc, etc. So be aware. It should be simple. You should speak the words that they understand. Speak the words so that they know what it is that you're offering and they know why it's so good for them? And I want you to promote the heck out of this. So make sure that you are texting your clients, sending emails, talking to them in the salon, offering like maybe a special offer for the people that are already in this long from now until the end of your Black Friday offers, etc, etc. People are used to spending money on Black Friday, so don't be afraid to start to offer these amazing things, because people want to feel that they have done a great deal. Play around with what it is that you're going to offer and decide on from what date, beginning date and end date for your Black Friday offers. Put them out there. Be open, be creative, have fun.
