Hi, and welcome to this new podcast episode. Today, I am going to talk a lot about how to reevaluate your business after the pandemic. And see how can you actually let go, maybe some harsh energies that you're holding on to how to start to look at your business in a new way. And start fresh. Because it's been a hard time a lot of hairstylist have been having issues. And I want you to start to look this from a new perspective and start to see a head start in one way or another. Your business your life has probably been impacted by the pandemic. It might have been good. It might have been bad. But one of the things that I want to talk about today is how can we see what we have learned? How can you actually maybe find strength from the experience you've been having for the past two years. And if you are listening to this podcast, and there's no pandemic anymore, life has changed in a very, very different way. You can also use this to see what kind of implementations can you use when something has happened in your life and you have to reevaluate maybe your life, maybe your business, and you have to make changes. And one of the biggest things that I've seen is that people have changed, what is demanded from people has become different. What people are comfortable with, has changed. And with this, I think it's super, super important when we're working is hairstyle is because we are not only creating hair with creating an atmosphere for our clients, and we're creating an experience for them. So what is it that our clients are demanding from us today? Then, and what is the big difference comparing to before the pandemic. One of the big things that I've seen in my own business is that clients have a hard time planning ahead. And I've heard this from many, many people that they want to make fast changes. And maybe when they want to get their hair done, they want to have their hair done within two or three days, don't want to wait a month or two months to get an appointment. And this is one of the biggest changes that I've seen with my own clientele. And the people don't really have a moment to go like, Oh, I have to wait for this. Like, why can't I just have it straight away? Now, at this very, very moment. This is something we have to communicate if you have a long waiting list. If they have to book two, three months ahead. How can you communicate this with your clients? And how can you also have reminders on so that they actually remember that they have an appointment booked? I always take deposits on every single booking that I make because then I know that all of the clients are coming to me. They are committed. They're committed to their appointment they're committing to coming at on their very time that they booked in and if you are not taking the positions already in your business start to implement this as a strategy already now because then you will have clients that actually will call you are rich How to you in the way that you have decided that this is the way that you they can reach out to you, then they will reach out, if something comes up, the most amazing thing that I see with clients is when they're feeling sick, they're actually cancelling appointments before they were actually coming to work sick. So that's a really, really good thing. And I've see that people are a little bit more afraid of the close lessness that we are standing when we're working with hair, and new clients might be a bit afraid of you working close to you, and so on. This is all about communication, all about talking, how will they feel secure working with you? I think you have now a beautiful, beautiful moment to start to reevaluate your business and start to think, what is it that you actually want to bring into your life and bring into your business? We things are changing rapidly, things are happening all over the globe, that is creating chaos, it's creating rapid change, and how I approach all of this change. And all of this fear others going around and everything that is balancing back and forth. I tried to look at okay, what is it that I want to create, and not go into too much worry. Not going to too much. I will have to go jump here jump there go this square that I tried to really set an amazing foundation for my business in know who I want to attract, and work from there. So my gift to you now is actually for you to start to look at. What do you want your life to look like? What kind of people do you want to have in your life? Is there any change that you want to create? Where you're living? Maybe you want to move your house, your apartment? Maybe you want to leave the city? Maybe you want to do some beach change? But what is it that you want to bring into your life? What kind of like? How would you want to feel when you are waking up on a daily basis? And start to look at okay, what do I like? What kind of life do I want to provide for me and my family? What do I want my life to look like? And then question when you're working as a hairstylist? What kind of changes do you need to implement in your business? In order for you to be able to provide that life that you want to live? Maybe you don't want to commute to work as much do you need to change where you're living or your business and start to asking these questions. Because I believe that when we are living in a more holistic way, there needs to be a balance between our life and our business. Our life cannot only be about working and our business, it it needs to be intertwined, and it needs to work together. Because then you will live the most fulfilling life that you possibly can. So start to think of what kind of like what is your dream? What is your dream reality? And really go deep there? Just ask yourself, if I wave a magic wand over you, what kind of dream life do you want to have? And if I wave a magic wand over you, what is your dream business? You can ask yourself, What does your salon look like? How do you feel when you are in your salon? What is the experience that you want to give your clients? How are you interacting with your clients? How do you make your clients feel? How are you communicating with your clients? How are they feeling when they're leaving? What is the transformation that you give her clients from when they're come to you? And when they're late the other day? I had one of my dear clients here, Crystal and when she came in the afternoon she wasn't feeling good at all, she had a headache, and she was not doing good at all. So I took care of her, I started to do her hair, I started to do some of my energy magic that I do. And I have my whole salon infused with Reiki healing as well. And I clear my space regularly every day as well. And I make sure that I have a high vibe, energy. And my whole intention with my salon is that people can be themselves, they can let go of whatever is needing to let go and fill themselves up with positive light energy. And it was actually my husband that was working on the computer, we have both our office and the salon in the same space. And he actually told me, I wasn't even thinking about it that Did you see the huge transformation for Crystal? When she came on when she left, she was like, totally different. She was laughing. She was energised, she was feeling amazing. And how to tolerate a different way of holding her body when she left compared to when she came.
That is my way of transforming my clients, even if I don't really think about it, because it happens a lot. This is my uniqueness. And that's why I'm asking you. What kind of transformations Do you want to offer your clients because you have the ability to hold space for your clients, and infuse them with the energy that they need. Even if they don't have don't ask for it. It can be amazing. It can be hard, but it can be amazing. Another question I can ask you is what kind of services do you offer? Like one to offer? Maybe there are some services that you're offering at this very moment that you feel I'm I don't enjoy them. I don't like them. Maybe it's time to let something go? What What, like if you look at your service menu, what brings you joy? And what is it that you feel is draining? can also look at clients? Do you have any toxic clients, clients that you feel that are energy thieves, they're sucking the life force out of you? Is there any of them that you can actually say goodbye to. Because remember, anytime we say goodbye to things, we are actually opening a door for something new, we're actually opening a door for new services or new clients or new money. Maybe you have some clients that are bitching about your prices. And maybe now is the time to raise your price and looking at those clients that are bitching about Oh, it's too expensive, blah, blah, blah, maybe it's time to say bye bye. And then the question can be, what kind of clients do you want to have into your life? Who is the clients that you actually want to help? I want to point out here that one of the spiritual laws is the law of infinite possibilities. And it really means that if you believe in this woowoo things that I live my life by, it means that if you can dream something, if you can dream it up, if you can visualise it in some other dimension, that is already reality for you. So the key point is to dare to dream. And I know some people have a hard time to actually visualise and dream and ask the questions. What do I want my life to look like? What do I want my business to look like? Who do I want to help? In what way do I want to help them? And what do I want to feel on a daily basis? Like what kind of feelings emotions do you want to have? I'm not saying that life will be always all legally peachy and amazing. Sometimes life throws shit towards you. And we have to deal with that. And I'm all about going through the emotion learning the lessons that we need to learn from anything that is happening in our lives. None let it go. So the question here I have also is what kind of changes do you feel rule that you want to implement to your business at this very moment. Is there anything that you feel is draining in your business? Is there a way to actually get someone to help you with that put some systems into place to make it easy for you. I actually have a text document with the steps that I need to take every single morning, when I start my business day of what I need to do in my business, I need to do that I need to do this, I need to the bla bla bla bla bla, as long as I go and do the list. And never forget anything. I don't wander around on social media doing like a bunch of stuff that I'm not supposed to do. I'm doing the things that the things that I'm on my list and I check it off, and I move forward. I save a lot of time having these lists. Is there anything that you can streamline in your business? Is there anything that you feel you want to focus more on? Maybe you want to become more specialised? What is the area in your life that you want to become more specialised in? Does your working hours workout for you now? Or do you need to change them? Another thing I know that the economy is changing in the world, at this very moment. Have you looked at your expenses, and what it is that you're actually bringing into your business? Do you need to do any changes in your price setting at this very moment, so that you know that you're making more profit. And if you do not understand the financial situation in your business, I highly recommend that you actually get help from someone that can help you with this, that can actually show you so that, you know, if you're making a profit or not, maybe you need to raise your prices, because you are worthy of the things that you are dreaming of. So we also even, I'm all about dreaming up big dreams, going for our goals and so on. We also have to know the situation in our lives financially, to be able to grow from that what is working, what is not working, maybe you're not even making any money on someone services, understand your financial situation, that this will be a key point, and change everything in your business. I also want to ask you, what have you learned about yourself during the pandemic? What have you learned from your business during the pandemic? Is there anything that you need to let go? The more you can actually start to write all of these aha moments down. I will put a PDF file in the show notes for you so that you can go through this, answer these questions for yourself, and really sit down and honour the moment. And the more you can know the right answers that is for you. I'm not saying the answers that are right for me is the same as the right answer. So you when you can only know all of this, the more you are living from this vision that you have for your business and for your life. And you start to act on that you will see magic start to happen. And remember, you're unique, you have a unique set of skills. And the more you start to show who you are, start to show your own uniqueness. the right type of clients will start to be attracted into your life when it comes to letting go of some things. Maybe when you have looked through this. See how it makes makes you feel some things might be triggering for you. It is important to not be afraid of the feelings that are coming up for you. The more we can go in and understand that this is happening at this very moment and actually feel the feelings understand what is the lessons that I've learned from this, what is it that I can take with me and how can I just let it go? How can I let go of the things that I've learned learned and move forward? But one good exercise is to actually write out all of it. All the things that you want to let go up and actually burn them. And while the paper is burning, actually feeling how all of this is going out of your body. And the flames are actually burning up all of the negativity that is around the things that are holding you back. So questions you can ask yourself is, is there anything in your life or business during this point that you've been disappointed at? And you feel that there has been a negative impact around something? Maybe you have been overwhelmed with the information you've seen on social media? Maybe I've been annoyed by someone? How are they acting like this? How can they blah, blah, blah, blah, blah? Another question, you can ask yourself who the people that you are annoyed by. Maybe you can start to unfollow them. You don't need to absorb a lot of things. How can we let things go? How can we say goodbye to the things that we are not serving us anymore?
Remember, seeing now actually opens up to the things that you actually want to have into your life, the more we can say no, the more open doors, we are opening for positive energy. If you had to have a hard day at a salon, at the end of the day, you can actually start to think, Okay, before you leave this alone, if you can sit in the corner by yourself and actually think, Okay, this is annoying me. But what is the lessons that I've learned and the more we can actually understand that everything that comes into our lives, there is a lesson there to learn. You can learn something from it, the more you can understand the lesson, the more we can for maybe you need to write about it, maybe you have to think through it, everyone is different. I also think if you're having a rough day in the salon, make sure to clean out the energy and you're leaving, clean yourself. Make sure that you're letting go of everything that every client has dumped on you clear that out of your life. Clean yourself, you can use Sage, you can use Palo Santo, you can use different kinds of tools to clean, clean yourself, you can also just go into the washing room. Think about everything that has been going on wash your hands. Think about everything that people have said and let that go through your hands while you're cleaning your hands. And just let it go shake your hands, shake your body, let everything leave you let it go. And say thank you, thank you for everything that I've learned today. Thank you for all the lessons and don't bring the crap home with you. Your family doesn't need that you don't need that. If you need to go into your car screaming and let the energy goes like that go for it. Maybe you need to sing out loud in the car or whatever you do. I actually power people work. And that is a really good thing for me to get things out of my body. I power work when I want to get my energy up as well. So these are tools for you to let go of things. So letting go on a daily basis and letting go of the things that are not serving you anymore. So please take a moment, use the PDF file in the show notes for this episode.
